All researchers studying Drosophila and related subjects are invited to attend the 4th Asia-Pacific Drosophila Research Conference, May 8-11, 2017, at Osaka University in Osaka, Japan.
Considering the growing number of Drosophila laboratories in the Asia-Pacific region in recent years, it is more important than ever to facilitate interactions among them. In addition, the effective sharing of various resources through cooperative research in the Asia-Pacific region will support and promote our scientific activity.
The conference is open to approximately 400 participants who wish to share new findings and build relationships in the Asia-Pacific region. Long talks of invited speakers and short talks selected from submitted abstracts will be presented. Postdocs and students are encouraged to present posters, for which there will be awards.
Please register for the meeting and submit your abstract for a talk or poster using the “Abstract submission” link at left. The deadline for submission is February 28, 2017. Participants from abroad can reserve a hotel room though the “Hotel/Travel” link. We ask that Japanese participants reserve their own hotel room.
Financial Assistance may be available for postdocs and students. Please apply through the “Travel grants” link.
